A large patch over overgrown nettles obscuring the path Reported by Emma Heaven at 12:27, Thu 10 June 2021 This path is where our small children line up to come into and out of school. The path can become congested as our parents are trying their upmost to adhere to social distancing rules. Several children have fallen, held onto or brushed past the stinging nettles with some incidents resulting in quite serious stings and of course extremely upset children. Whilst I appreciate that they are a weed and this may not be a priority, it is rather dangerous for our youngest children and is causing concern amongst parents and teachers. The nettles have been over grown for over two months and are getting worse every day. We would really appreciate the nettles being cut back and our path way being made safe again. We often find that parents are unable to social distance due to avoiding the nettles which obviously in the current climate is absolutely not ideal. Emma Heaven (Reception Teacher at Templefield Lower School). Thank you.
