Gulley outside 59 Mill Road Reported anonymously at 17:10, Wed 15 September 2021 Thank you for your prompt response. However at 2.00pm when you visited the rain had stopped. Indeed, it was fairly moderate yesterday and at 12.23 it had already receded and yet the gulley was submerged. I assume therefore from your response you have not considered cleaning the drain and gulley to at least alleviate the issue a little? Sandbags are short term, which would only put the onus on me to be in when it rains and prevent me from accessing my drive by car in the rain but would make the flooding of the pavement even worse and impassable for pedestrians. They would have to try to cross to the other side and be saturated by vehicular spray where the flooding is similar, albeit mostly on the road.I will of course upload a video the next time it rains and meanwhile would be grateful if you would advise on my comments regarding the humps and your intentions to remedy. Thank you.
