Outside number 8 chapel close Toddington Reported anonymously at 13:47, Tue 17 May 2022 Street light was knocked over in an accident. By a speeding car which shunted a parked car up the lamp post knocking it over. This corner is very dark now at night and with an uneven pavement someone could fall over. There are two big trees which also make it darker.This will be a very dangerous hazard in the autumn and winter months when it gets dark early. This is also a very busy road in school time. A new post and light need putting back. The damaged post was cut down and removed by the council just after the accident but no sign of a new post being put back. This is also an area with elderly residents many vulnerable. Please put the light back ASAP.
