Hello Matt,
Please see CRN : 350164 .Cant find other CRNs as the resident said she has been complaining about several over grown trees for a couple of years
Resident wants to complain that we have not dealt with several trees that have been growing out of hand for a long time.
They are located at the back and the left hand side of number 16 Bradshaws Close, Barton-le-Clay , MK45 4JS
Says that we first said we would deal with them but never did.. Then our contractors came out and only did a minor trim of a few twigs. Then we said we would deal with them after the bird nesting season but this still has not happened.. Requesting we escalate the cutting back of several trees during this period of time out of the bird nesting season.. Also asking for the tree officer to please contact her on XXXXXXXXX as she says every time she raises a request for these trees nothing happens. . She gets told we would raise the request for the areas team / TO but nothing happens and she doesnt get anywhere ---------Email also sent to the TO which does include the residents phone numberPosted by Central Bedfordshire Council at 10:43, Mon 7 March 2022

I am contacting you to raise a complaint concerning the ongoing situation regarding overgrown trees around my boundary, in the footpaths. For the last two years I have been contacting you on a regular basis requesting that the trees be pruned and after many many contacts are still achieving nothing!
We have lived in our house for 23 years and up until the last, maybe five years there has never been a problem, the trees were maintained regularly by yourselves and on the odd occasion that we had branches coming over onto our property, we would just contact you and the situation would be fairly swiftly rectified.
The trees have now grown so high that there will be substantial work required to bring them down.
I consider Central Beds Council to be behaving as bad neighbours, as all of our requests appear to be just ignored. Ironically around three years ago, we received a very firm letter from yourselves informing us that our ivy was growing over on to the pathway and needed pruning. We were given a timescale in your letter to complete the work, otherwise the Council would do it and send us the bill! We were unaware of the issue, but quickly sorted out. Please explain to me the reason that the same does not apply to yourselves? Can we arrange for the trees to be pruned and the bill sent to you?
The trees are affecting our light.(Each year as they get higher, getting worse)
They are making our garden permanently damp. The rear of our garden is turning to mud.
We have had squirrels getting into our loft, causing damage to our property and major expense.
The deluge of leaves each year is giving us more and more work.Previous reference 350164. Last contact visit from Matt Jones.
