Recently a car crashed at the roundabout and smashed through the wall at Folders Gate, nearly hitting a house. Barriers are needed to protect the houses and also pedestrians on the pavement from traffic.
Thank you for contacting us in relation to the Roundabout close to Folders Gate on the A507 in Ampthill. We are in the process of undertaking a safety assessment of this junction to determine whether further interventions are required. Once the review has been completed, we will provide an update with any further details. Thank you once again.
