Failed surface
Reported via iOS in the Road Surface category anonymously at 14:52, Thu 11 March 2021
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 353227.
The service road along Brookside Walk has a lot of pot holes. Some are fairly deep. The previous repairs have failed. The footpath along the service road AND at the front of Brookside Walk is also in a state of disrepair. The grass has not been cut back from the edges. This is causing the footpath to fail. There is a large fir tree in one of the Brookside Walk front gardens. The roots have lifted up the tarmac making a very interesting trip hazard. Hopefully action will be taken to make good the above faults.

Thank you for your Highways report.
An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx.
