Flashing speed check sign not working
Reported via iOS in the Flashing signs category by Steve Grayson at 18:11, Mon 15 March 2021
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 353485x.
Coming into the village from Junction M1 11A, on the right hand side, the speed check sign that flashes green okay/red too fast is not working at all. This is just before the bend after which there is a school so vitally important.

One week later and still not working on 22/3/21 and no update shown on incident. As I said, this is within 100m of a school around a downhill bend. The village tried hard to get the sign for school safety originally so it’s disappointing to see it non operational for so long. Cllr Steve Grayson. Chalton Parish Council.

Monday this week 14/6/21 we had a car accident on that same bend within 50m of the school. This sign incident got closed but is now re-opened along with a second incident. 2-4 weeks is a long time to wait during which anything could happen.
