Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 355000.

Now that the contractors are removing their barriers near the Bandstand/clock tower, I noticed today a problem with the pavement slabs. (I did in fact trip on one today) The problem area is in the old pavement surface immediately to the right of the entrance to NORTON HOUSE. A number of the older slabs are cracked, and one in particular is lower than its neighbours by about 2-3 cms. I don’t know if this is in your area of influence, but whilst the contractors are still around, it might be a good moment to remedy the problem before someone is seriously injured.
