Overgrown tree outside 36 Canesworde Road, Dunstable, LU6 3JJ

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 19:05, Monday 26 April 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 355407.

The roots of the tree have grown through the wall of a manhole cover in the garden of 36 Canesworde Road, Dunstable. This is the most probable cause of a blocked sewer which had to be cleared on 19th April 2021 by Metro Rod. I do not want the blockage to reoccur. I am also concerned that the roots of the tree may cause damage to the shared sewer that crosses the front garden closer to the tree. I have notified Anglian Water of this problem as they are respofor the shared sewer.
