The tree itself is safe, it was inspected thoroughly on 22nd March 2021 - we can look to prune the tree back from the properties later on in the year following bird nesting season.

To whom it may concern I emailed you in August 2020 concerning a very large tree opposite no 18 Brigham Gardens Sg180lw. In August this year you returned an email to me saying that you could cut the tree back when the birds had finished nesting that time has now passed and as I am still worried about the tree causing a lot of damage. While I appreciate it would be better left until all the leaves have fallen and blocked all the drains & gutters could you please inform me as to whether this work will be done.

Will be reinspecting this tree over the next month to ascertain whether works are necessary - any work picked up in the survey will be completed over the Winter.

Please see email below regarding tree. I have passed through to Tree inspector
Dear sir I am sorry to keep on about this tree but with spring not to far away myself and my neighbours are becoming very concerned that nothing will be done. Pruning was mentioned but Im afraid it needs a lot more than that if the tree or any of its branches were to come down it would cause considerable damage. Can you please advise as to whether anything will be done ASAP.

We've surveyed twice in the last 12 months and still don't believe this tree needs pruning yet. It still appears to be far enough away from properties so as to not cause concern. We will re-assess again in Summer.

"Dear sir I have written on several occasions about the overgrown tree opposite 18 Brigham gardens we on the estate have suffered all through the summer with sap & nuts ruining our cars & blocking our gutters now autumn is here with the tens of thousand of leaves falling again blocking our gutters causing them to overflow and cause flooding on our gardens. We also get flooding from the road as all the drains are blocked with leaves. Please can something be done about it"
