Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 356135.

I live at 118 East Road, next to the railway crossing. Whenever the B659 is closed, there are drivers of cars, vans and other vehicles, who think there is a route to the A1 over the railway crossing. My request is for the signs of a "No through road" to be positioned prominently on either side of the road after the Junction of St Andrew's Way. A further request for two more signs just before the railway crossing that have something like "No vehicular access to the A1". That would I hope make the use of the crossing safer. The locals know how to use it correctly. But the unfamiliar just add to the risks of using the crossing.
