It's not a problem - your Receptionist told me to add this letter to - as she said this was the best way to get an answer. As follows:-

Dear Sir or Madam,

Re: Signage for Cranfield Community Centre

I am now working with Lyn Davis (Clerk) at Cranfield Parish Council.

She has asked me to find out how we go about getting signage showing where Cranfield Community Centre is, and the process we will need to go through.

A suggestion is two small signs (front to back) on lampposts near the roundabout at the end of Lodge Road, Cranfield.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs Kay Stanford Administration Assistant Cranfield Parish Council

  • Thank you for contacting us to request amenity information signage in Cranfield at the Lodge Road roundabout:
We have reviewed your request and, in principle, consider that these signs could be installed at the location you propose. Each sign would cost in the region of £100 and we should be able to install these signs on existing posts, although a quick survey will need to be carried out to confirm this. We would expect the costs associated with these new signs to be paid for by the Parish Council.
Should you wish to proceed, please let us know so we can arrange a site visit and subsequent quotation to be sent.

This correspondence will also be sent as in this case, it might be beter to discuss by email rather than Fix My Street.

State changed to: No further action
