Green close corner

Reported via Android in the Surface water on Highway category anonymously at 18:20, Friday 28 May 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 356848.

On the south west corner of green close, there is standing water which has has been there for over 6 months, both through wet and dry spells. The problem seems to be that neither of the two drains that are within 2 metres are below the level of the road under the water. So there is no way it can drain away. The drains are not blocked. I believe that either a drain needs moving or the road surface needs changing so that the water can drain away
