Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 356853.
A tree in the garden of 35 High Street is creating excessive damage to the vehicles parked in Shepherds Place.
One vehicle has sustained £420 worth of damage from falling branches, tree sap and bird droppings. This tree overhangs 7 parking spaces and is damaging all vehicles and the road surface underneath.
A tree surgeon has visited and advised that the tree is dangerous and there is a substantial risk of major limb failure. The straps used to secure the tree are inadequate and at risk of snapping - this creating further damage to vehicles and neighbouring properties, and risk of the tree falling in it’s entirety.
Several people have reported this to the council, and currently they are failing to act upon what could essential be a risk to life.
