Footpath on the right hand side of Swansholme Gardens from beyond No, 28 for a distance of approximately 30 yards
Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category by Cllr Martin Pettitt at 16:19, Thu 3 June 2021
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 357059.
I reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 16:31, Thursday 28 January 2021 acknowledged with ref: 350168. Photographs previously supplied. This badly degraded and broken stretch of footpath was previously by me about 10 earlier. No known action was taken, certainly never marked to indicate it had been inspected and merited any remedial action. It has continued to deteriorate, is a trip and slipping hazard especially in wet and / or icy conditions. I have been monitoring it's condition and it was recently reported to me by a resident who lives about a mile away but who routinely walks through this locality and complained to me about it. I can provide this residents details if necessary. I have also visited the area accompanied by CBC Ward Member, Cllr C Maudlin.

It is 3 months since these necessary work we added to the programme of works. Please advise when it is anticipated that the work will be carried out as local residents are again becoming concerned especially with autumn on the horizon and when the defective footpath becomes much more slippery etc. due to rain, frost etc. Thank you.
