School roadmarkings worn out

Reported via Android in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 11:26, Monday 7 June 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 357192.

Yellow road markings warning of school entrance are completely worn off. Perhaps if they were there it might make idiots realise they are in a built-up residential area. Please make area 20mph and enforce it like every other council does. Whole of Potton Road is a disaster waiting to happen unless the council and police take action to stop the constant abuse of the speed limit. Speed signs might help. Speed cameras, width restrictions and unfortunately speedhumps may also be necessary. Proper pedestrian crossings rather than the proposed Zebra crossing may be a better and safer option. I work at the hospital as part of the Covid vaccination programme and walk to work, everyday I witness cars, lorries, vans and motorcycles exceeding the speed limit by a considerable margin.
