Dead tree overhanging Social club property.
Reported via Android in the Trees category anonymously at 13:10, Thu 10 June 2021
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 357394.
There is a dead tree that is overhanging the boundary at Caddington Sports and Social club. The dead tree is directly over the grounds and garage where he works on a daily basis. Dead branches/twigs keep falling on the roof and it has now got to the stage where the trunk is dangerous and could fall onto the garage. As the tree is growing from highways land we would like you to remove it before it falls and hurts someone. Thank you

This is getting more desperate as high winds keep knocking bits of the tree. We are very worried that the trunk will fall onto the garage where our groundsman works. Please action the removal ASAP. Thanks

Hi Matt.
Please see CRN : 357394
Resident said he was happy with the phone call he received from you regarding the tree problem and was advised that the tree would be removed during this financial year that is running out.
That he reported the tree last year June.
Says that the tree / branches have now fallen down during the last storm on to the roof of a garage causing a lot of damage
I have informed him that you are aware that an insurance claim is going on with this but he says that he was advised that the tree would be dealt with after the emergency team had done their work.
Say that the tree was not been dealt with after the emergency team had left. That the top part of the tree still needs to be cut or else it will cause further problems
The immediate problem he has is that the builders are unable to work on the roof due to H & Safety issues and also he doesnt want to have to claim again if the tree falls on to the garage again.
Also rain is coming into the garage while they wait to repair the roof .Address where the tree fell is Caddington Sports and Social Club , Manor Road , Caddington---------Email also sent to the TOState changed to: Open
