Damaged road surface outside 256 258 260 262 Luton Road damaged road surface outside these properties causing disturbances to sleep causing fatigue

Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category anonymously at 09:38, Thursday 17 June 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 357771.

I first emailed you regarding this in 2018 and it’s still not been dealt with. I understand it’s now going to be put on your works schedule. Could you give me some idea of when the repair will take place? Last night, yet again there was a lot of activity on the road and several lorries going over this area made such loud noises it was near on impossible to get back to sleep after one woke us up. The sleep disturbance is detrimental to our health, we struggle health wise anyway and the tiredness caused by this road surface is unnecessary as it is something that can easily be fixed. I have noticed certain areas of the road have been marked, but not the damaged area I’m talking about, why is this? I would be grateful if you could respond to these points many thanks.
