Various stretches of the A6 betwen Barton/Pulloxhill Rd and Silsoe

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 13:37, Fri 18 June 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 357886.

On the west of the carriageway tree branches encroach on the road by about 3 feet. I am a cyclist and have to ride 4 to 5 feet from the kerb to avoid the branches, putting me at risk from overtaking vehicles. Please cut the branches back to around 3 feet behind the kerb to reclaim the road for its intended use. This is a different problem from the cycle/footpath overgrowth which is being reported on the opposite (East) side of the carriageway.
