Overgrown Hedge - Footpath Blocked

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 358052.

The hedge at 22a Grange Street, Clifton is obstructing the footpath, pedestrians are forced to walk in the road. This is a hawthorn hedge and there is a danger that the branches could cause injury as all are at eye level. Disabled and pushchairs cannot use the path.

This has been an issue for the last 3 months and occurs every year.

  • Fixed - hedge now cut and footpath is passable once more

    We have now inspected the defect and no planned repair is necessary at this stage. Please be assured that we will continue to monitor and inspect the road in line with our established service plan.
