Stretch of road between 192 and 206 Hitchin Road, Henlow, SG166BA.

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 09:34, Monday 21 June 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 358099.

I live in 192 Hitchin Road and visibility to my right when exiting my driveway is vastly reduced due to overhanging tree branches and overgrown grass verge. Speed limit along this stretch of road is 50mph but cars often exceed this. Both myself and my neighbour have had 'near misses' in recent weeks with cars coming around the corner to find a car pulling off the drive, often resulting in a bout of road rage in the form of flashing headlights and blaring of horns. Along with my partner I run a childminding business from home and have now received comments from parents about the lack of visibility and how they feel uncomfortable about pulling off our drive.
