Footpath between Clifton-Henlow, in particular stretch from Broad Street (Mulberry Development) to Wren Close (off Clifton Road)

Reported via desktop in the Verges category anonymously at 11:24, Tue 22 June 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 358204.

Hedging/verge badly overgrown and obstructing safe use of the footpath in several places, such that pushchairs/wheelchairs etc would need to leave the footpath and use the side of the road. Getting steadily worse over past two months, footpath becoming increasingly narrow in some places. Particularly the stretch between the two villages (bordered by fields) and along opposite side to houses along Clifton Road, prior to Wren Close (from Broad Street direction). Used regularly to walk to school, safety becoming an increasing concern, plus an increase recently in construction traffic to/from the Mulberry Development. This road needs a safe footpath, would rather not get in the car to drive the school run. Thanks!
