16 Cornwall Road, Ampthill entrance to Garages
Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 17:54, Wed 30 June 2021
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 358600.
Number 16 Cornwall Road has erected this and bolted it to the pavement. This surely cannot be allowed and should be taken down and the pavement repaired at the cost of the property owner. He could have erected this on the other side of the wall on his property instead of damaging a public footpath. I did telephone and report this a number of weeks ago but nothing appears to have been done. The owner of this property has also painted the side of the garages that backs onto his garden, also again i guess without consent. I would like to see these issues resolved as soon as possible please. Lastly, he lets his children paly football in the garage area even erecting goals at each end, surely there should be no ball games allowed in this area.

Can you please advise why you gave out my address to the property owners committing this offence, i have had them calling at my door. I clicked the 'Do Not Make Public' box, clearly this is a GDPR data breach as you did not have my consent to use my personal data, i am now considering whether to contact the ICO to report this breach, but will await your response in the first instance.

So far nothing has been done regarding the Bin enclosure that was reported a month ago, is the homeowner expected to remove this as surely they should not just be allowed to bolt things to a public footpath?
