48/52/54/68/71 Tilsworth Road

Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category anonymously at 23:17, Thursday 1 July 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 358663.

The residents of all these properties continue to report the same road damage and impacts of the thumps and vibration on their homes from buses and lorries thumping into the cracked surfaces.

This starts just after 5 am every day with the first bus and continues thereafter unabated. Disturbed sleep and the continual thump is having a direct impact of residents sleep and mental health.

We are collectively pleased that something is now planned but please confirm the extent of the work proposed (is it the whole of the surface between the yellow lines marked in the road this week) and ANSWER THE QUESTION as to WHEN ARE THE WORKS GOING TO BE DONE as this is affecting residents mental well-being, as evidenced by the continual reports you receive, and the Council has a duty of care in these circumstances.
