Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 358945.
I leave on 17 Poynters Road and have a shop next to me, the shop has a very big driveway but we are having constant issues with the customers speeding into the public path in front of my driveway and also parking in the public path just in front of my driveway blocking the public path and access to my drive. When we ask the car owners to move their car they become very agressive even after we explain that we need to park and are blocking the main road waiting to park.
When we are waiting to park we then cause hazards as other raod users have to move out of the way to drive through.
Sometimes this turns into arguments, today the whole family got threatened and told that we are not safe, the car driver kept holding something in his belt and saying he would stab my husband, said that he would move the car but return later to take revenge.
This is a constant, every day we are scared to get out as the drivers speed into the path sometimes directly to the shop driveway other times to our own drive. Without caring if someone is coming out of the house or passing by.
I am emailing beacause before the road was re surfaced years back we had poles in the path by each of the driveway side ends and these were never put back . Can we please have these back as i am worried that someday something happens to our family?
I hope that you can urgently help as we are desperate.
I look forward to hear from you
Kind regards
Sonia Silva
