First Avenue and all surrounding roads

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 359011.
Today, 9th July, the grass verges were cut in First Avenue and all surrounding roads. The standard of the work carried out is haphazard. There are patches that have been missed and tufts of grass in most mown areas. I did a quick drive around the area and sadly the low standard is widespread. Pipers Croft and Appleby Gardens were a similar low standard.
My photographs don’t show the problem very well, whereas all it takes is a drive round the area and everything will become evident.
Whoever is responsible for commissioning the grass cutters, needs to monitor the service the contractors are providing, on the day the grass is cut. Leaving it later than the day of the cut, will lead to a difficulty in presenting a case for better quality.
