Outside 15 Shillington Road, Meppershall, in carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Road Surface category by Lisa Lehrle at 16:46, Monday 12 July 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 359137.

When the road was last resurfaced the fire hydrant frame was set into the surround, however it was not properly supported underneath and has now settled, causing it to sink below the road surface. This results in mud and other debris entering the chamber and obstructing the fire hydrant. The frame needs to be raised and properly supported underneath.
