Very Poor/non excisting road markings

Reported via mobile in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 19:35, Tuesday 13 July 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 359223.

Rose lane beside 1-4 Claremont Cottages and around the corner has very little or very poor damaged road line. This corner has had 2 car crashes into in the last 4 weeks.

There needs to be some better road signage, trees cut back and lines repainted on the road.

Speed bumps or traffic management needs to be improved here before a car crashes into a house.

Bollards/barrier or a fence on the corner would improve safety here.

  • Please can you assess whether the trees require cutting back along Rose Lane? The TM team do not consider that any traffic calming measures or signage are required along this specific stretch of Rose Lane, which is a short length of road leading to a car park.
