212 High Street North

Reported via mobile in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 09:58, Monday 26 July 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 359751.

Safety Concerns due to poor visibility owing to parked cars on or in close proximity to the zebra crossing by patrons from Irmak BBQ. Footway Obstruction due to inconsiderate parking again from Irmak BBQ. I want to see further parking restrictions or alternative measures considered to prevent this behaviour as they’re obstructing our access to our driveway and deliveries cannot be made to us! It goes on every day and night particularly worst in the weekend after 9:30pm. These issues were made worst since Irmak extension in May 2021!!

It has been several misses where pedestrians nearly got hit at the crossing as cars approaching can’t see them. A young child got hit by a bike a few weeks ago, although nothing sinister but it’s a major accident waiting to happen
