Overhanging Tree Branches by Leafield Court
Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 16:19, Tue 3 August 2021
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 360107x.
The trees along the path that leads from Dunstable Street, past Leafield Court and into Preston Close are so overgrown that they are overhanging the highway along that section of Baker Street and it is so difficult and potentially dangerous for pedestrians with big branches hanging over the footpath. It may be Grand Union's responsibility in which case please ask them to carry out the work. In addition, I've been advised that over 18 months there has been an assortment of signs, red plastic fencing, sand bags etc that have never been retrieved by CBC from behind the wall opposite the Baptist Cottages and Central Hairdressing. Items keep getting moved by whoever and they often cause a nuisance to pedestrians.
