Flooded underpass on Norton rd

Reported via desktop in the Subway category by Ken Jackson at 14:42, Wed 11 August 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 360420.

This underpass has been flooded since 16th July. The east side (towards Letchworth) is effectively cut off from the main village / town and the only way across is over the A507. Motorbikes still use this as a racetrack and another serious accident is waiting to happen. The Central Beds site indicates that works are due near here from 16 sept to 16 Dec - if this means the underpass how will pedestrians ( including a number of elderly residents) get to the shops / Doctors, Dentists etc etc.
