Previous report closed incorrectly - Speed issues

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 360599.
I reported an issue on this road with dangerous speeds on a daily basis. A response was received stating a 7 day speed test had been done in June. I saw nothing at all regarding this and cannot believe it never picked up speeding cars over 7 days. We see it on a daily basis as does the entire village. It's dangerous and needs to be dealt with. Why is there a 30mph average speed trap on "High Road" between Cotton End and Shortstown? That road is perfect for at least a 50mph limit. But our small village has absolutely no such thing. When it desperately needs it before someone gets killed.
