Unauthorised traveller encampment blocking public path and dangerous dogs

Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 09:57, Wednesday 18 August 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 360640.

There is an illegal traveller encampment on the new footpath/cyclepath where the brook flood works are. They appear to have been there for a week or more now. There is already lots of rubbish strewn across the paths and hedgerows now including dirty nappies. They also have dangerous dogs who bark and try to chase people who are trying to pass. One of the dogs isn't even tied up so this is also an animal welfare issue as this dog is right by the M1 link road so will likely be run over accidentally.
