Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later

Footpath between Keech hospice and George wood in Streatley. Big pile of mostly tyres dumped on the public footpath near George wood (row of trees alongside the path ), been there for nearly 3 weeks.

  • Not sure if Central Beds council own this land, the flytipped rubbish still hasn't been removed.

  • I assume the landowner or farmer set fire to the dumped rubbish about a week ago, earlier this week all the ash and debris was removed , leaving a burnt piece of verge. The footpath is now clear. No idea if Central Beds council was involved, if so , they "reacted" very slowly.
