Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 361170.
Previously case no.345859. The Mall LU54HH. This job was only 80% completed. It should have been inspected and not closed. Trees still overhang the road. The trees on this embankment need to be attended to professionally, Its just a mess.

Customer called advising that she reported the overhanging trees in 2019 and nothing has been done about it.
Customer is worried about the trees falling onto property numbers 84,85 and 86. They can hear the trees creeking in the wind and branches had also been falling off.
Advised that the the inspector has confirmed that they do not belong to CBC and that the land owner has been contacted but the customer advised that Persimmon Homes said that the trees are the responsibility of CBC and would like to know what is going to be done about it.

Unfortunately this land is the responsibility of a third party. The council will not be liable for any damage caused to property. We will reassess the area with respect to highway safety as part of upcoming survey works and generate works as necessary.
