Bin Enclosure fixed to pavement

Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 08:38, Monday 20 September 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 361689.

Just to update you. After 2+ weeks the bin enclosure remains fixed to the pavement outside of the property owners boundary. I hope that the cost of the Council removing this does not come down to the Tax payer. Last advise on 02/09/21 that if it had not been removed by the owners the council would do it and they where given two weeks notice!

  • Received response from Council - Why are the Council Tax payers paying to remove a bin enclosure fitted outside home owners boundaries to the pavement. Surely this should be at the expense of the person who drilled the holes and secured it to the public pavement!
