A6 Cycle Path: Silsoe <==> Barton

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 361969.

This cycle path is so dangerous - I cycled on it again last weekend & was reminded why I usually avoid it. Its so narrow in places you could touch the traffic (scary for both cyclists & oncoming traffic), with numerous broken/uneven/dangerous surfaces, overhanging trees & overgrown bushes also impinging the path. There will soon be an accident if its not significantly improved.

    We have now inspected the defect and no planned repair is necessary at this stage. We have found the path to be passable at this stage. Please be assured that we will continue to monitor and inspect the road in line with our established service plan.
