  • Could someone from the highways team please get in touch with me urgently, regarding the bump in the road in Millfield lane. My daughter has scraped the bottom of her car again and several visitors have done the same despite driving slowly. Obviously it depends on the car and passengers etc but the road condition is unacceptable.

We have only two options to leave Millfield lane and if we only use the other end of the lane we get stuck behind the lorries queuing to get into the new building development.

ItÂ’s not surprising that the condition of the road has deteriorated lately but I would like to know when this will be urgently repaired or whether costs would be covered for car repairs when they are unavoidable due to road conditions.
