Gulley outside 59 Mill Road ref 361569

Reported via desktop in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 18:01, Saturday 2 October 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 362122.

As per my last report please find attached photo of the flooding which has occurred again today. My front lawn and drive is flooded and water is backing up through my rainwater drains. The second photograph shows the gulley still under water some 100 minutes later. Please will you now deal with this promptly before my property is flooded. Please advise of your intentions as I will need to advise my insurance company. Thank you.

  • Your last update, which noted that the problem was closed, stated that the gulley would be cleared in 28 days from the 6th October. Please advise when this is to be done as the flooding almost reached my garage last night. Please also confirm that when complete you will clear out my drainage due to the backing up of the gulley, or advise where I send the invoice once you have carried out your works. Please also confirm your works will solve the issue.
