Overgrown greenery damaged my fence

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 14:13, Wednesday 13 October 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 362537.

Next to my house is greenery which is so badly overgrown that my fence is about to collapse. I have asked the council countless time to trim the trees and hedges but received no reply. I now need a new fence and the greenery still needs to be cut back.

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
We pruned the trees on that verge last year, as they were interfering with the public highway. Landowners are able to prune vegetation interfering with their fence.

Thank you for reporting this matter,
