Footpath between the end of Shenley Hill Road by the pond and St Leonard's Church

Reported via desktop in the Pavement and Cycle path category by Alan Gomersall at 11:26, Wed 20 October 2021

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 362833.

The pavement on Heath Road between the top of Shenley Hill Road leading along Heath Road towards St Leonard's Church is no longer fit to use for elderly people, parents with children's prams and buggies, and people in mobility scooters. It is overgrown, extremely uneven and very narrow after years of neglect. People are having to walk on the very busy road rather than trying to use the footpath. It is also very dark at night as you approach St Leonard's Church as large conifer trees are rendering the street lights useless.
