  • Customer called as it's been 5 days since he reported the problem and no inspection took place. I had explained the customer that the report was made on 21/10 and on 29/10 it is the 5th day but customer said this was reported on 20th. Customer wanted to be contacted by the inspector to arrange a meeting as the inspector will need access to his property to see the problem.
    Email sent to area team with his contact details and request to contact customer.

    Please contact Mr Tony Rowe who lives at 49 Stanbridge Road, Tilsworth, LU7 9PT. Phone number :
    Says a storm drain is blocked and has flooded his garden . Has been in touch with the water & sewage company who have advised him to contact highways.
    Mr Rowe needs an inspection to see the blockage further up the pipe line within the pipes that CBC highways are responsible for. -------Email sent to the area team / PO . Residents phone number is contacted in the email
    That we need to call him to arrange a date as he needs to give access via his gate

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
    Following you report we have carried out an inspection and raised an order to repair your identified issue and this has now been added to our programme of works.

    Works are due to be completed within 28 days for all gullies in surrounding area to be cleaned.

  • Further to update, I called and left message with customers wife to advise that an order has been raised and gullies will be cleaned. Email sent to Area Team re enquiry, will this include the storm drain running through the garden.
