Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 363022.
Dear Sir/Madam I live at The Rock, 35 Gibraltar Cottages, London Road, Luton Hoo, Luton LU1 4LE and daily use the path from Gibraltar Cottages south along the AIO81 towards Gibraltar Farm and the Bus Stop. Our cottage and three others stand beside the busy A1081 on the south side of the road between Luton and Harpenden. The path heading south from our cottage is becoming difficult to use as the trees and bushes are encroaching on it and vegetation is growing across the old tarmac path. This path is necessary to walk to the Bus stop opposite Gibraltar Farm. The trees and shrubs also hinder the view of traffic for the four residents of Gibraltar Cottages as they ease out of their drives to pull off in a northerly and south direction. The problem with the trees and shrubs is also prominent to the north of our four cottages towards the entrance to Luton Hoo Hotel and Spa, made worse by the corner and the speed of some of the traffic coming from Luton. I would be very grateful for your help in improving the situation. I would be pleased to meet with a representative of the Council to help us in this so I can show them the problem and we can seek a way forward. Some years ago this same problem occurred and help was given and the situation improved. I hope this is possible again. Yours sincerely
