I heard the dumpers at the above location on Tuesday night at around midnight. I did phone the Police on the non-emergency number and told them that I was sure fly tipping on some scle was going on in Great Bramingham Lane. In fact so much rubbish was dumped that it blocked the Lane. I could not see the vehilces involved as the bushes at the south side of the Lane are still in full leaf. I know the waste has been cleared and there are media reports about. I have said for some time that covert CCTV cameras are required at this location. Obviously blocking of the Lane with fly tipping is unacceptable. As far as I am aware Great Bramingham Lane is a public highway. The waste was quickly cleared, and thanks for that - but this location is becoming more and more of a problem.
Thank you for taking the time to report this fly-tipping concern to us. Our Environmental Services Team will inspect, assess, review location and action as quickly as possible. If you find further fly tipping in this location, please update your report. Many thanks, Central Bedfordshire Council Environmental Services Team
