Uneven road surface causes huge puddles outside my front door
Reported via mobile in the Road Surface category anonymously at 10:45, Mon 1 November 2021
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 363252.
I am re-submitting this issue as the last one has been closed with no further action.
The road surface outside my house has been unevenly raised following roadworks in 2019. Ever since then, whenever it rains, a huge puddle appears on the road right outside my front door and whenever cars drive through it, it splashes water and stones all over my front door and on the front bricks of my house. There needs to be better drainage or re-surfacing of the road to ensure this doesn’t continue to happen. I am very concerned that this is going to damage the exterior of my house.
