Three repairs required on the corner of High St and Malborough Place toddington

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 363349.

1) broken kerb stone where cars drive over it to do u-turns on the high Street. 2) dip in pavement outside front door of no. 60 high Street (front door is on the side and opens onto Malborough Place) this dip fills up with water and freezes in winter. 3) drain on cornet of Malborough Place right next to no. 60, is now loose, and makes load banging noise when cars drive in and out or use the road to turn around in, this is now disturbing residents of no. 60 including when trying to sleep.

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
    We have now inspected the defect and no planned repair is necessary at this stage. The drains seem to have a very small amount of movement but are not loose. the other defects will continue to be monitored and we will continue to inspect the road in line with our established service plan.
