Inside Matthew Street Car Park on the left hand side as you drive in

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 363381.

Extra Tall double street lamp not working at all which would light up the car park. Very dark without these lights working. I can see this was previously reported in October by another member of the public and I think the outcome was the lights could not be allocated checking the notes.

As you drive into the car park, on the left hand side is the tall street lamp. Hopefully the picture provided helps.

  • email from customer asking is to escalate as no acknowledgement has been provided to advise that the lamp has been attended to, the fault or if an order for repair has been raised- email sent to street lighting team.

Our engineers have inspected and found a fault with the power supply which is owned and maintained by the electricity provider. We have requested that they investigate and make a repair (their target timescale is 28 days). We will continue to monitor this issue until it is resolved.   • Customer called and very unhappy that it takes so long for the light to be fixed. Customer said that the parking area is very dangerouse and requested to speak with someone about it, also said that if not fixed in 7 days will be taking it further. Email sent to relevant team for a call back to customer.
