Outside and opposite Nonno Joe's restaurant, High Street, Biggleswade

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 363815.
Occasionally delivery vans park up outside Nonno Joe's, partly on the pavement. This is on a bend and close to a pedestrian crossing, on a narrow stretch of road. This afternoon one was parked there and traffic was passing it in both directions simultaneously, meaning that traffic heading westbound was clipping the kerb of the pavement opposite Nonno Joes. I was walking on that pavement and was nearly hit by a van - the south side of High Street has something of a blind bend at this point! There are double yellow lines at this location, but loading is permitted. I believe that allowing loading at this location could put pedestrians at risk on the opposite pavement, and I think you should consider loading restrictions on this nasty bend.
