Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 364040.
I would like to request a simple concrete bollard to be put back into the centre of a section of path between Middle Green and Willowbank walk. I have seen a car using this route as a short cut. It was yesterday evening,19th November about 6:30 ,so it was dark. The car drove through from Willowbank Walk with enough speed, that if some children or even someone's dog had been running across its path, they would have definitely been hit. There was originally a bollard there as shown below in the photo (I have no idea why I took that years ago but now glad I did !) but it got knocked down by something reversing too far up the path and then disappeared, presumably taken away by the council. I hope you can help.
Thank you for contacting us. This issue does not come under the responsibility of our Highways Department, however we have forwarded this report to be reallocated to another service within the council.
