Hello Highways team area 1 / Scott Terry
See 364098
Resident would like an update as to when the gully cleaning program will be taking place along See Insite note on the 24 / 01 / 22 and also says Highways were looking into the flooding. The resident Mr Bullen says that due to an incline along the full length of Bedford Road. This is leading to flooding into the gardens within 10 / 12 Thorncote Road , Northill , SG18 9AQ
10 / 12 Thorncote Road is just around the corner from Bedford Road. I have explained that the road has been added to the gully cleaning program of works for the future.
However Mr Bullen says the problem of flooding is mainly caused by rain water pouring down Bedford road.. That a man from highways came to visit him sometime last year and said he would look into / review if any extra drainage could be put in.. Mentioned the name of the man as a Matthew. .He was not given the surname for Matthew and does not know the surname. . The only Matthew I could find is Matthew Simkus.. I have included Matthew in this email in case he remembers visiting Mr Bullen and can shed any light on the drainage review issue Mr Bullens mentioned.. Mr Bullenss phone number is XXXXXXX------------Email sent to the area team, Scott and Matthew Simkus . Email also has Mr Bullenss phone numberState changed to: Open
